| Toronto, Ontario, June 29, 2006 – Caro Systems is pleased to announce
that after a competitive RFP process, the 'Television Automated Supply Chain Initiative' (TASCI), an ad-hoc
committee of major Canadian Broadcasters and Advertising Agencies, has extended an offer to partner with
Caro Systems Inc. to provide services for TASCI to design, build and support the infrastructure by which
key business exchanges relating to the life-cycle exchanges of Broadcast Orders can be automated.
The core vision of TASCI is to streamline the business process between the television buyers and sellers,
by providing a means to automate key business transactions across a peer-to-peer network and thus eliminate
discrepancies from buyer to seller information and processing systems. The selection committee of TASCI
was impressed by the thoroughness of Caro's response and the speed at which Caro was able to demonstrate
a proto-type solution during the RFP process.
TASCI will partner with Caro to develop a system that will provide the peer-to-peer solution to the challenges
of the buying/selling cycle between Agencies and Broadcasters. The solution will include a bi-directional
interface between the buyers and sellers. As part of the process Caro will develop standardized web-services
based on industry standard XML to further enable the Broadcaster and Agencies an even greater degree of
automation with their own back-end systems.
